.40 caliber percussion, Phillips Target Rifle, 30" heavy octagonal barrel, double-set triggers,
back action lock, checkered wrist, nickle plated brass Swiss style Schuetzen type buttplate,
brass triggerguard, mussle of barrel has four holes for false muzzle, checkpiece left side of
stock, tang rear sight and hooded front sight, no forearm, marked on barrel
